Our mission is to promote the fiber arts in the regions of SW Virginia, NW North Carolina and the Piedmont. We support the fiber artisan, the Blue Ridge Fiber Fest as well as historic farms and museums.

First Tuesday of most months from 1-4 PM at Alleghany County Public Library, 125 Atwood Street, Sparta NC. Meetings are occasionally held elsewhere. Please check our Facebook page for the current meeting location.
Spinners:
Second Tuesday of the month at Wythe-Grayson Regional Library, 147 S Independence Ave, Independence, VA. Check Facebook for details.
Fourth Tuesday of the month from 11:00-2:00 at the Armfield Rec Center, 873 W 52 Bypass in Pilot Mountain, NC. Check Facebook for details.
Weavers:
Meet periodically in Elkin, NC. Details will be posted on Facebook.

The Mountain Homespun Fiber Guild is a group of people interested in all things fiber. We have members in the mountains and piedmont areas of Virginia and North Carolina. Our dues are $10.00 per year. We have members of all levels from beginner to expert and do spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, felting and anything else that has to do with fiber. Several times a year, we hold classes in fiber arts for our members.
